A place to request Dash features for the Stages development team.
If not in a ride, the dash should power off automatically after some time of inactivity.
Is there confusion between powering off and sleep? These are two different items in my book.
I still don't see the option to set the Dash to power off automatically after X minutes of inactivity. Where is the option?
it is available in current FW 2.2.0 (since 2020-03-17)
Hello, this feature is marked as shipped, I dont see it on my Dash L50 headunit with sw 2.1.1
Excellent!
Current settings will be 5min, 20min, and never.
You should be able to configure the amount of idle time before the Dash auto power offs. eg 5min, 30min, 1hr, Never.
Thanks Richard. Looks like this is the top vote getter, we will move it into production. I dont think it will get in the next release but for sure after that.
Additionally when switched back on it should be possible to resume a ride / course. i.e. you might have stopped at a café for a coffee.
You won't be notified about changes to this idea.
