Second best feature was being able to use the 'hidden buttons' on the shifters to control the Edge. This allows you to program 6 functions based on single tap, double tap, and long tap for both the left and right buttons. I used left single tap to scroll up a page and right single tap to scroll down a page. Much easier than having to take you hand off the bars and press a button on the Edge. I could never remember what I had double tap and long tap programmed to do so I mostly used the buttons to scroll up/down through the data pages. I had one of the long taps programmed to go to the map page. Depending on where I was riding, even if I was following a course, I didn't always have the map page on as it would only show two other pieces of data with the map. So if I was coming up to an intersection and not sure which way to turn, rather than having to scroll through the data pages to get back to the map, I could just do a long tap and the map would appear straight away.
