Rework button interface in landscape mode

It is (to me at least) non-intuitive navigating the menus while using the head unit in landscape mode. Particularly the up/down buttons pointing left/right seem backward in the interface (i.e. the down button is above the up button in landscape mode, and they are separated by the select button). I can't seem to get my brain to push the correct buttons when I have the unit installed in landscape. I wonder if there may be a way to rework the menus in that mode through firmware or something that makes it easier to use.

In other words don't focus on the marks in Landscape mode. Functionally it makes perfect sense the way it is. The bottom arrow button in landscape mode would not make sense if it scrolled pages to the left.

In landscape mode the buttons are on the right hand side of the computer screen. The top arrow button scrolls pages to the left and the bottom arrow button scrolls pages to the right. Intuitively that makes perfect sense.... you are focusing on the portrait indicator marks. Those indicator marks make sense when the computer is in portrait mode, but once the computer is flipped to landscape the marks obviously don't point in the right direction, but the function of the buttons orientation makes perfect sense.
